Prayer Card - Prayer to Marija Bambina

We sold these several years ago and thought we sold out. Now we've found a bunch of them, just in time to prepare for Blessed Mother's birthday on August 5th (or September 8th). The Maria Bambina miraculous image was made before 1730 by a Franciscan nun and it eventually came into the care of the Sisters of Charity of Lovere, Italy. It originally was brought out for veneration only on September 8th each year. One year, on September 8, 1884, with many sick nuns, the Mother General took it to their sick room overnight. A nun was cured immediately and the image, which was by then old, worn, and grayish in color was transformed into the warm flesh hues it still has today.

Many graces and miracles have come from this devotion. There are five short prayers, each to be said with a Hail Mary, followed by the ending prayer. These are to be said on each of the nine days of the novena before Baby Mary's birthday. Bifold, Laminated.

Canvas Picture Of The Sacred Heart Of Jesus

It comes from a very old painting in Germany and you cannot take your eyes from Jesus' penetrating Eyes. At first glance, His Face seems stern, then you realize His Hands are tearing His tunic from His Heart, as if to say, "This Heart beats for you!" and you feel the love in His Eyes. This painting touches people deeply. The beautiful burnished gold frame has a warm inset of wood that brings out the deep orange-red of Jesus' garment. Outer Dimensions: 25" x 22".

Father Jozo’s lovely Lady from Tihaljina. Has there ever been a face of Mary more beautiful or eyes more loving?
